This all the more made their names worth remembering as their prospered in the field that was supposed to be dominated by men. However, there are also some of them who rose to fame because of their connections to some famous Indian warriors. This famous Native American woman is a warrior of the Chiricahua Apache. She was the constant companion of her brother in fighting against the conquerors of Arizona. She was expert in shooting, riding, and she is also good in fighting against men who were bigger than her. She is also known for being a good strategist.

She is a product of Native American and European race. She is known for her commitment to stop the selling of the Huron Cemetery in Kansas City. The land was sacred as it was the burying ground of the Native Americans. Her efforts have attracted many supporters that in the end the land was hailed as a sacred history and remained preserved.

Moving robe was one of the warriors who lead the counterattack against the U.S. Calvary troops at the peak of the war on Greasy Grass in Montana. She was a sign to behold, with her beauty and bravery shining during the fights she participated.

Famous Native American Woman – Princess Angeline

Princess Angeline is the eldest daughter of Chief Seattle. She is somehow known as the Native American woman with strong resolve. Despite the fact that their people were already required to leave their land because of the Treaty of Point Elliott, she stood her ground and never left. Instead, she settled on a waterfront cabin and earned a living by doing laundry and selling handwoven baskets. Her fame remains as different streets in Seattle are named after her.

Famous Native American Woman- Black Buffalo Woman

She had a short romance with Crazy Horse. What makes her famous is her ancestry. She was the niece of Red Cloud, one of Native Americans’ strongest warrior during the Indian Wars. Also, she has family ties with He Dog and Red Heart Bull. Crazy Horse was her second husband. She was allowed to marry him as divorce is allowed in Lakota. However, she was forced to return to her first husband, No Water, to avoid the growing conflict between the two men over her.

Famous Native American Woman –  Black Shawl Woman

She was the second wife of Crazy Horse, the warrior who is known for going against the US Government. Basically, her fame can be attributed to her marriage. Unfortunately, there are no records with regards to her contribution to the war. Her husband was able to lead around 1,500 warriors to war.
