North American Native Indian tribes are well scattered to different lands of United States. The difference in regions also extends to the difference in culture, language, customs, and even politics among these North American tribes. Majority of the Native American tribes underwent sophistication within the Northern hemisphere of America primarily because of the agricultural strength of the said area. North American Native American Tribes have different lifestyles and practices and these were already established even before the Europeans came. North American Native in California region

North American Native tribes situated in California are highly diverse. They resided from Mojave to Nevada lands. Even in today’s time, many things are still left unknown regarding them. Majority of the Native North American Indian tribes in this area are small. Also, they have weak political organizations compared to other tribes. In today’s society, the North Native American tribes who developed in this region are the Cocopah, Hupa, Mohave and Miwo, to name a few.  Mostly, they live on deserts in the west part. Pomo, another one North American tribe, is one of those who lived in the coastal areas, making waterborne resources their main source of food.

North American Native in Great Plains

North American Indians Tribes from this land mostly resides in South Dakota, Montana and Wyoming. This region is considered to be one of the biggest that has ever been occupied. The Comanche, a North American Indian Tribe renowned for its horsemanship, is one of the residents of this specific region. The Native North American tribes in this region are more likely nomadic. They highly depend on hunting bison, or buffalo. As bison usually move from one place to another, the tribes follow. This dependence of the Great Plains tribes to bison is evident on how they use its skill for other things, such as clothes, shields, bags, and tents. Its horns on the other hand are used for creating spoons, and glasses. Additionally, bison has become their major resource for weapon creation.As such, because of its flexibility, North American Native tribes within this region consider bison as their sacred animal.

North American Native in Southwest

Southwestern North American Indian Tribes have spent their time living on dry lands. As such, their houses are formed through the use of adobe bricks. They are more of a village-type. They are mostly found in Arizona and New Mexico. However, as time went by, they scattered to Texas. Because of the dry nature of the land, majority of the North American tribes within this region are dependent to agriculture. Despite this, the tribes in the Southwest prefer staying in one place.

Certain tribes can still be found in the same place even after hundred years. Some North American tribes that have prospered in this region are the Apache, Hopi, and Navajo.
It should be noted that the regions in which Native American Indian tribes resided are not limited to the three mentioned above. Other regions that can be explored include Arctic, Great Basin, Northeast Woodlands, Northwest Coast, and Southeast. North American tribes in these regions are also unique in their own rights.
